We live in interesting times !! Whether that’s a blessing or a curse I'm not too sure. Market conditions remain challenging. In the Commercial sector the economic pressures are causing companies to downsize, at best, and this is having a direct effect on the insurance market. At worst, some of our clients are going out of business.
In the area of Personal Insurance, following a number of years of adverse claims experience, premiums are going up at the same time as unemployment is increasing and disposable incomes dropping. Not surprisingly customers are shopping around in greater numbers and are also revisiting the level of cover being purchased. This is a trend that is likely to continue over the coming years.
We in Allianz continue to innovate, improve the efficiency of trading with our broker partners and continue to lower our mutual cost bases. In this edition of the eZine we outline 'Statement of Fact' and how it will effect the way new business is carried out. We discuss our new broker training programme, the 'Allianz Learning Partnership' (ALP's), which was launched in April and has already received excellent feedback from delegates. We also outline the benefits of our Small Fleet Motor proposition as part of our 'Product Focus' section and there is much more...
Congratulations to Dublin and Cork winners of the Allianz Leagues Hurling and Football finals. It was another successful year and we hope all of you who availed of tickets from Allianz to support your County enjoyed the matches. We look forward to sponsoring the Leagues again next year and are delighted to be linked with such an exciting nationwide sporting event.
We hope you find this eZine informative and would very much like your feedback. Please click here to have your say.
Finally, we are delighted to include our 'One Piece of Advice' campaign. My 'One Piece of Advice' is to "get the fundamentals right" and you'll be well on the way to further success.
