Welcome to the first edition of the Allianz broker eZine for 2012. In this edition we start off by introducing you to our new and improved broker extranet site. We look at our Light Commercial Vans product (OGR), which is now available on a 'Quote and Buy' basis, with the excellent facility to print new business schedules and certificates of insurance instantly. We take you through our Allianz Learning Partnership (ALP) initiative, which to date has been delivered to over 200 broker partners throughout Ireland. We give you some trends in relation to burglary claims, and recommend some preventative measures that your customers can put in place. Finally, we discuss the recent changes that have been made to the minimum competency and consumer protection requirements.

Last year, 2011, saw a significant increase in traffic on our broker extranet site www.allianzbroker.com, across all of the facilities we offer, with virtually every broker regularly using the site.
